2008 Annual Spring Tea

Church Street Cafe

2111 Church Street NW

(in Old Town)

Saturday, May 3, 2008

2:00 - 4:00 pm

Join us for our annual Spring Tea, Fashion Show and Silent Auction and help us raise money for the philanthropic efforts of the chapter!

We are now seeking  sponsors for this event, which will benefit Keep New Mexico Reading:  The EWI Campaign to Bring the Magic of Reading to New Mexicans.  Hundreds of children from lower-income school districts have received books and were invited to participate in special events - complete with games, food and prizes designed especially for them -  to celebrate their individual reading accomplishments throughout the year because of the continuing generous support of sponsors.  Proceeds this year will be used to support the Kasey Says Program - a unique NM Department of Education reviewed and approved year long structured program of the Sandoval County Sheriff's office.  Specially trained teams of Sheriff's Deputies and dogs visit elementary schools to support programs in reading, safety, our legal system and alcohol and drug prevention.  To find out more about this program please visit the website, Kaseysays.com.

To learn more about sponsorship, please contact Allyson Turner at (505) 554-2381 or aktionnm@comcast.net.

Hope to see you there!
