PHILANTHROPY

Manzano High School Library Project

The Albuquerque Chapter of Executive Women International is so pleased to have the Manzano High School library as our philanthropy project for 2007-2008.  We will be helping this library sort, barcode and discard books from their large collection.  We will also be helping them with rearranging the library furniture and bringing the library into full ADA compliance.  We are thrilled to be helping the new librarian, Heather Dahl, in this effort.

We currently have 4 work sessions set up.

They are:

    Saturday, Feb 9th, from 1 to 5 p.m.
    Wed., Feb. 13th, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
    Wed., Feb. 20th, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
    Thurs., Feb. 21st from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Please also understand that any EWI member can assist Heather during school hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-2:30pm.

The school is located on the south side of Lomas Blvd between Juan Tabo and Eubank.  The library is located just above the administration building.  You can see it as you head up Lomas.  There is parking on both the east and west ends of the school.
